From 1951, Charlie and Dizzy being given awards from Downbeat Magazine. The performance is Hot House. Nice work from both. Fairly late in Bird's career, but he still had his chops.

A true Steve Winwood Traffic classic
Low Spark of High Heeled Boys has always been one of my favorite songs since its' release. I'm posting it here because a very good friend mentioned it as one of hers as well. I think Steve was still answering to Stevie back then, but he had the chops of piano players twice his age. He was only about 24 when this performance was recorded.
Tom Waits Interviews are as wonderful as his music.
This interview shows how much fun Tom can have with a pretentious idiot who doesn't get him. Some of the comments are hilarious as well.
