From 1951, Charlie and Dizzy being given awards from Downbeat Magazine. The performance is Hot House. Nice work from both. Fairly late in Bird's career, but he still had his chops.
I grew up in Palm Beach, Florida and spent the majority of my first 35 years there. Since then I have lived in New York, England, Chicago, Wisconsin, and now Sarasota.
